Jay Famiglietti is a Professor of Earth System Science of and Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. He is the founding director of the UC Center for Hydrologic Modeling (UCCHM), a UC systemwide center that focuses on water issues in California and the western United States.
